John Beadle has been elected unopposed onto Gwersyllt Community Council.
He will join his fellow Plaid Cymru community councillors for Gwersyllt North, Cllr Gwenfair Jones and Cllr Dave Thomas.
John, who works for a large manufacturing company on the industrial estate, has lived in Gwersyllt and Summerhill all his life.
He said: “I grew up in Gwersyllt before moving to Summerhill in 1996, where I have lived ever since. I’m passionate about the area in which we live and aim to support you, the community, in the best way I possibly can.
“I’m looking forward to working with my fellow Plaid Cymru councillors in Gwersyllt.”
