Aneurin Glyndwr...Part 2.

Now I don't like to make a habit of using material from a Labour source but this photograph of Lib Dem Councillor Mike Edwards pretending to paint a fence in his suit and a sealed tin of paint is too good not to use. I suppose you got to feel sorry for Mike in a way...as if he didn't feel foolish enough anyway he now features on the worst political campaign web site...ever!

To be honest I haven't enjoyed myself so much in a long time as I have trawling the Aneurin Glyndwr website...and of course listening to the Youtube video, Why, Why, Why Labour to Delilah...which it would appear that Labour have used without permission...it just gets worse doesn't it.

An what's even better still is that Peter Hain and Paul Murphy have fronted it...this surely must be the end of Peter and Paul's political career's.

What finished it off for me was that it was described as Welsh Labour's Obama moment...oh dear!

This saga is going to keep the Welsh political blogosphere going a long time.

  1. Obama moment? Barmy more like!

Plenty of blogs having a field day with the new website. I've had to laugh at various bloggers who've lifted the video in case Labour realise what a mistake they've made and delete it!I've also found trawling through Aneurin Glyndwr very amusing, not for the reasons Labour might be hoping though!Very funny, this site is a great example of 'how not to do it' if I ever saw one.

  2. A well at least he was only painting this time, suppose he's given up on gritting the roads in Rossett so the Lib Dems had a political advantage for the recent by election.

  3. Mike One Vote will have to better than that if he's going to hang on to his one vote majority at the next Council election. Mind you if he lost it would just be a Tory replacing another Tory.

  4. I just had to copy this from Welsh Ramblings, its exactly how I feel about the Welsh Labour Party:

this video has just made my day.

can you hear that? it's the sound of labour in wales digging its own grave and stepping into it. Wales will be better for it.

Good riddence to a spiteful, tribalist, jingoist, put-Wales-down party.

Eluned Morgan - you're history. Your spite and arrogance is now apparrant for all to see.

  6. Agree it's an awful website. Why are you taking stories off if it to have a go at a hard working local councillor trying to do something in his community?

I never see much of what you're doing for your wards on this blog now. Its just having a go a the rest of the council especially the Lib Dems who have done so much for Wrexham in the past few years.

If you don't like working with them then leave your cushy special responsibility salaries behind and go and join the Labour losers on the sidelines.

You don't own the copyright on this photo either so running it here is just as bad as Labour nicking a Tom Jones song.

But then you always have been as big a bunch of idiots as Labour.

I bet you won't run this comment anyway.

  7. As to "Why, Why, Why"s comments I suppose the Lib Dems don't do any mud slinging do they...remember, he/she who casts the first stone...and that wasn't Plaid.
